The Company:

We have been guiding/operating since 2013 with great success in tracking down Northern Lights and helping fellow travellers to fulfil their dreams.

The Position:

Northern Lights tour guide / driver. Job’s task is to carry out tours in small groups, generally no more than 8 participants. Photographic background is a must, as we put lot of effort in photography and cannot allow compromises. Although it would be great, if you already worked as a guide in previous working life, it’s not 100% mandatory. Often it’s all about having right personality. All the necessary training is provided by us as long as you feel good to work on your own. Hope you like driving…in the dark…in the snow. 🙂 There will be driving and there might be lot of it per tour to find clear skies with Northern Lights. Also you would have to be able to help customers to get clothed for provided winter gear, to make a fire in a snow, to make sure everybody is feeling all right and to be able to set up all sorts of cameras for optimum settings for Northern Lights photography.

What we expect:

Working as a Northern Lights guide is great, but can be tough. You need to be problem solver, as there might be unforeseen situations raising from nowhere. Also it’s super important to be fluent in social situations. Guiding takes place in English. Additional languages will be bonus, but not mandatory. As the tour price includes photos of customers and Auroras, you would have to be comfortable taking their photos, processing them and sending them to the customers latest on a next day.
